FFS was founded to bring top-class S&C to the general population and recreational athletes. Our philosophy of putting people first has helped us create an approachable and fun environment where people can make long-term sustainable changes to their health and fitness.

It all began over a burrito in late 2012, after founders Rory McInerney and Ciaran “Rudds” Ruddock finished college. They were looking for an opportunity to use their Health & Performance Science degrees and make a real impact in the health and fitness industry.

Rory was tired of writing training programs for his friends but never seeing commitment or results due to the environment created in traditional commercial gyms. He suggested setting up a gym that combined fundamental sports science principles with an enjoyable team atmosphere to create an environment that excites people to train in. From there, Fitter Faster Stronger was born.

With many late nights and the help of friends and family, the Home of Hard Work opened its doors on Leeson Street just a few weeks later, friends and fam in February 2013.

The last 11 years have been full of ups and downs, but we are more excited than ever to help people get stronger.
